During the 2009 crisis, unlike most companies, Newtech decided to heavily invest in research and development by signing a contract with Turin Politecnico University for a long term cooperation in approaching machines design.

The philosophy supporting this agreement is founded on the consideration that nowadays no small or medium size company has the means to posses, within their structure, such a powerful computer system and the relevant knowledge, to design with the help of mathematical models and three dimensional simulations.

The approach of equipment development based on continuous restyling and improvement of previous models, followed by the construction of a prototype and by long lasting trials, does not apply any longer to a competitive world.

We are determined to follow a much more scientific approach and to do that we have looked for a partner, Politecnico di Torino, listed among the ten more prestigious University in the world.
